A wonderful pair of Sterling Silver Art Deco Napkin Rings by Deakin and Francis (D&F) of Birmingham in a small 'trunk-shaped' presentation box. The rings are in a typical Art Deco octagonal shape, and are fully hallmarked, Birmingham 1932.
Deakin and Francis were founded in 1786 and are still in business in Birmingham making some of the finest designer cufflinks.
The combined weight of both Napkin Rings is 1½oz and they are in absolutely beautiful condition. They are engraved, one with a B, the other an R though it would be quite feasible to have a silversmith fill and polish the engraving out.
