Any bright white marks or spots are reflections from the lighting used when taking the photographs.

An early Bursley Ware Windblown Peony Jug (pattern 324) by Charlotte Rhead dating to the 1920's. This jug is in stunning condition for its age, and is typical of the early tube-lined work by Charlotte Rhead with bold designs and striking colours.

The jug is marked to the base 'Bursley-Ware Charlotte Rhead England' and carries the hand-written pattern number TL43 and the decorators mark wich is the initial A.

The jug measures approximately 10 inches high and has no chips, cracks or restoration, though there is a tiny firing flaw on the foot rim which is unnoticeable as the jug stands over this.
