A shape 150 Ovoid Vase from Crown Ducal in the 3272 Rhodian pattern designed by Charlotte Rhead. The vase is 4½ inches (11.5cm) tall, and is a derivative Rhodian pattern with the leaves in outline only and the flower heads in yellow, orange & black with gold gilding.
The base carries the Crown Ducal AGR2 backstamp dating this piece to between 1935 and 1938. Also present is the facsimile CRHEAD signature and tube-liners mark (unidentified) plus the gilders mark for 'Mrs Johnson'.
The vase is in excellent condition with no wear to the paint, gilding or tubelining. There are no chips or cracks or crazing and the vase has no internal damage or staining.
