A classic shape and a classic pattern, this Clarice Cliff Drum Jam Pot and Lid is in the lovely Spring Crocus pattern and is in beautiful condition.

The pot is 3½" tall (to the lid finial) and has the dual backstamps of Clarice Cliff Newport in green, and Royal Staffordshire Crocus by Clarice Cliff in gold as often found on Spring Crocus pieces.

Absolutely no chips, cracks or scrazing, but as it expected for vintage Clarice, there are a couple of very minor scratches to the paintwork. There is also a very small glaze bulge on the white ground at the side of the pot, and we suspect that there has been some very minor restoration to the tip of the lid knob. The price reflects this, but you have to look very hard to spot it, and it is in no way detrimental to the way the pot displays.
