Information and costs
Delivery for all our items is based on weight and is sent fully insured by Royal Mail Special Delivery for the UK, and Royal Mail Airsure, FedEx or UPS for International orders. Post Postage is calculated in the shopping cart after an item is added and the service selected, but before you enter any personal or payment information.
FREE Standard postage is available for all UK orders, however our delivery time for this service is up to 7 working days. Depending on when you place the order it may be quicker, but we are unable to give any guarantees or schedule particular delivery dates if you select this service. As with all orders, we will email you once your order has been packed and we will then give you an estimated dispatch date. Orders with a value below £35 and using the free postage option will be sent out by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery.
If you require a faster delivery, or you wish to request a particular delivery date, we offer an expedited service as detailed below. As a guide, the following price bands apply for packed parcel weights sent via our expedited service within the UK only:

The Special Delivery service we use is a 'guaranteed next working day' service from the date of dispatch. A signature is required from the addressee on delivery, however if you are not in when Royal Mail attempt to deliver, they will leave a card. You can then either collect from your local sorting office, re-arrange the delivery for a more convenient time or arrange for delivery to your local Post Office (a small charge may be levied by Royal Mail for this). Delivery times may be extended for remote areas or Islands that require customs clearance (such as Jersey, CI).
We also offer a guaranteed Saturday delivery service using 'Special Delivery Saturday Guarantee' at a nominal additional cost. This requires us to dispatch on the Friday prior to the required Saturday delivery date. Some remote areas and Islands are excluded from this service. See the Royal Mail site for more information.
For international orders, it is suggested that you either contact us for a delivery quote, or add the item to your shopping cart and select the delivery option for your country; this will display the postage cost and order total.
For the EXPEDITED SERVICE ONLY, orders placed before 12 noon Monday to Friday we aim to send out the same day, for guaranteed delivery the next working day. If you see this flash
displayed at the bottom of a product description, it indicates the item is at the Tetbury shop and we ask that you contact us to check availability before you place the order, as occasionally the shop don't tell us for a few days that a piece has sold. Items ordered on-line that are on display at the Tetbury shop may take slightly longer to arrive as they have to be collected first, though we aim to deliver these within the 3 working days.
Refunds
For UK orders only, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within seven (7) days of receipt in the condition as dispatched and we will refund the product price (excluding any Postage and Packing charges) or exchange for another product of equal price. Should you wish to exchange for a more expensive item, you must pay the difference between the price paid for the returned item and the listed price of the replacement item. If you wish to exchange for a cheaper item, we will refund the difference between the price paid for the returned item and the listed price of the replacement item. You will be responsible for paying the Postage and Packing costs for the returned item, and any additional Postage and Packing costs to send a replacement item to you.
You are responsible for any items to be returned whilst in your possession and until we have signed and accepted delivery. Items are to be returned at your expense by a method that grants you adequate insurance for loss or damage in transit. For items of ceramic or glass, that can only be by Royal Mail Special Delivery. We are not responsible or liable for items lost or damaged in transit to us that are not adequately insured. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
You must ensure you contact us to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number before returning the item to us. Failure to do so could delay the issue of a refund to you. This Returns Authorisation Number must be clearly marked on the outside of the returned package.
Wherever possible, goods should be returned in their original packaging, but in all circumstances in packaging that affords no less protection from loss or damage in transit than the original.
For items bought through, or collected in person from the Tetbury shop, customers should be aware that the 'distance selling regulations' do not apply, and refunds under this scheme cannot be considered.
