A lovely early Troika 4½" (11.5cm) diameter Wheel Vase decorated by Marilyn Pascoe, who worked at the St Ives and Newlyn sites between the late 1960's and 1974. The vase is a beautiful overall petrol/Troika blue with a disc on each face in dark brown or grey. The vase is inscribed with random 'Aztec-type' icons and impressed circles typical of the very early pieces from the 1960's. The base carries the early hand painted Troika St. Ives England mark and the MP monogram for Marilyn Pascoe.
Vase is in perfect condition and is an extremely rare piece as most wheel vases are from the later Newlyn period. This would make a stunning addition to any collection.
