Royal Doulton produced a range of Whiskey Flaggons for the Whyte & Mackay distillary, this range from the 1970's & 1980's comprised Birds of Prey. This particular flaggon is the Osprey and is the second largest next to the Golden Eagle.

Designed and modelled by D Littleton, this model was available in 1977. This flaggon has a plastic stopper in the base to enable it to be displayed once empty. This flaggon is full and sealed, though the contents should not be considered suitable for consumption.

Standing 8" tall, this is an impressive model for both a collector of birds and also Royal Doulton.
