When paying by credit or debit card, you will be taken to the secure payment page provided by Worldpay (the company that process our payments in conjunction with Streamline and NatWest). You can be assured your financial details remain secure whilst you are completing the transaction.

Worldpay process internet credit card payments in real time.  No credit card information is stored on our systems or at our premises. Worldpay, Streamline and your Credit Card company validate every purchase you make to combat fraud online.

How does the Worldpay system work?

When paying by card online: From the checkout area you will be taken to a secure payment area provided by Worldpay, here you will give your card details. All of your information is encrypted (scrambled) using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) prior to being sent over the Internet to the Worldpay system.

To confirm that your connection is secure, look for a locked padlock icon or solid key icon at the bottom of your browser window or for IE7, next to the address bar. The letters "https" (rather than "http") located in the URL Address Bar at the top of your browser also indicate that you are using a secure connection.

Worldpay will verify the information you have provided including your address, postcode and CVV number from the back of your card. Once authorised you will be returned back to the store and your order will be passed to us for processing. At no time do we have access to your card or financial details. Only your contact details are retained on our system for current and future order processing purposes.

3D Secure & Mastercard SPA anti-fraud systems

We have added 3D Secure and Mastercard SPA through "Verified by VISA" and "MasterCard SecureCode" to our internet security measures - helping to ensure that our customers are safe when shopping with us. These systems protect your existing Credit and Debit cards with a password you create, giving you additional security and assurance when you use your cards online. Simply activate your card (click on the logo's or links above) and create your personal password. You'll get the added confidence that your card is safe when you shop at any participating online stores.

Once you and your card are enrolled, your card number will be recognised whenever you purchase at participating online stores. You'll enter your password in the 3D Secure window, your identity will be verified, and the transaction will be completed. In stores that are not yet participating in Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode, your credit/debit card will continue to work as usual.
