A lovely Troika Coffin Vase in the 'Celtic Cross' design, decorated by Tina Doubleday. In an overall Troika Blue colour the pattern highlights are detailed in grey, dark green and white with the inside of the pot being in bright white titanium gloss tin glaze.
The base carries the standard hand painted Troika Cornwall mark and the DD monogram for Tina Doubleday (later Richards) who worked at the Troika pottery for just two years between 1977 and 1979. Often confused as a CC monogram for Colin Carbis, the mark has now been confirmed as Tina's.
The vase stands 7 inches (18cm) tall and is in perfect unmarked condition.
