A beautifully coloured 5½ inch (14cm) Small Textured Cylinder Vase or Pencil Jar, decorated by Linda Hazel, who worked at the Troika Newlyn pottery in the 1970's. It is thought she started in 1970 and worked through until 1973, and it is known she was definitely at the pottery in 1972.
This particular vase is in an overall moss green colour with graduated bands in broewn, petrol blue and black with discs in a light beige with blue flecks. As is usual, the interior of the vase is in the bright white titanium glaze. Cylinder vases are becoming much more collected now and were very under-rated in the past.
The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
