A wonderfully decorated Large Rectangular Shoulder Vase by Annette Walters who worked at the Newlyn pottery between 1977 and 1979 (dates unconfirmed).
The vase is of the rough matt stone form decorated in an olive green ground with highlights in blue, brown and cream with a dark blue shoulder in gloss glaze. Internally the vase is glazed in white gloss as is standard with Troika pottery.
Standing an impressive 32cm (12½") tall and 11.5cm (4½") square, the base carries the Troika mark and monogram for Annette Walters (AW). Vase is in perfect/mint condition and does not carry any chips or cracks.
