A rare pattern Tall Rectangular Vase in stunning bright Troika colours decorated by Alison Brigden who worked at the pottery between 1977 and 1983 and was the senior decorator between 1981 and 1983. Alison was famous for her very crisp and clean aztec and geometric designs and collectors will seek out pieces specifically decorated by her.
The vase stands 8¾" tall, is 2½" Square and is decorated on all four sides in striking geometric patterns. The overall body colour is a bright Troika blue, with pattern highlights in brown, grey and white on the front and rear faces.
A nice and rare vase, which is in superb condition. The base if fully marked with the handwritten Troika pottery mark and the initials AB for Alison Brigden.
