A rare Brick Vase the design often referred to as the Wireless Vase due to its stylised 'tuning knob, tuning scale and loudspeaker grille'. Decorated by Holly Jackson, a designer/paintress who joined Troika in 1977 at 16 and stayed for only 7 months. She is the Grand-daughter of Alec Walker the fabric designer, who set up the Cryséde company. Due to Holly's short employment at Troika, her work is both rare and much sought after.
This vase stands 20cm (8") tall and is 7.5cm (3") square. Decorated in the very desirable petrol blue ground with the pattern highlights in brown grey and cream, it is in perfect condition with no detectable damage or restoration.
