A T3003 Large Wheel Vase decorated by Teo Bernatowitz who worked for the pottery for only about 12 to 18 months in 1974. An interesting design, the front has what could be described as a 'cave drawing' style of pattern, showing a 'stick man', arrow, a line of bricks and a disc, the verso showing a set of four circles in squares, all in deep relief.
The vase is approximately 20cm (8 inches) diameter and is about 5cm (2 inches) wide. It is decorated in rough stone glaze with the main body in a deep blue/grey with areas of the pattern picked out in a lighter blue, grey and white, all colours associated with Teo's decorating style. The base carries the hand-written Troika Cornwall mark and the monogram Tb
A beautiful vase by a desirable and well-collected decorator in lovely overall condition, which would make a stunning addition to any Troika collection.
