Troika Small Wheel Vase was decorated by Penny Black (later Roland), who worked at the potteries from the1960's until 1976. Not to be confused with Penny Broadrib who had a similar mark, the B in Penny Black's monogram has a 'tail' which aids identification.
This is decorated in an unusual V design on the front and a symetrical 'ircles and flags' design on the reverse. Painted in an overall light grey glaze with pattern highlights in brown and blue. The vase has a diameter of 9cm (4½") and 2.5cm (1") deep.
The base bears the usual hand painted Troika mark and the PB monogram for Penny Black. In super condition, there are no discernable chips, cracks or crazing.
