This Whitefriars Concentric TV pattern vase in Tangerine was designed by Geoffrey Baxter in 1967. The textured effect comes from the construction of the mould, produced by cutting wood in layers to form a stepped relief that then had overlapping tin tacks hammered into it. The glass is then blown into the mould and then hand finished.
Vase is in wonderful unmarked condition, and is an impressive iconic piece.
