A 6 inch (15cm) tall Pomegranate Baluster Vase by William Moorcroft circa 1920. The vase is a wonderful deep Cobalt Blue and is surrounded by five Pomegranates, one of which is open showing its seeds. The Pomegranates are surrounded by grapes and leaves. The base carries the impressed Cobridge factory mark with William Moorcroft's initials in blue.
Pomegranate is one of the most collected and sought after patterns, those wares with open Pomegranates are the most desirable and always command much higher prices.
In beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, a very worthy addition to any collection.
