An early William Moorcroft Pansy Lipped Bowl dating to around 1918, with a large dark pansy flower and leaves against a cobalt blue ground. The outside of the bowl is decorated in pansy buds and leaves against a graduated green to blue ground.
The base carries William's full signature in blue, and the impressed Moorcroft factory marks. The bowl is in superb condition, the decoration being crisp and bright with no signs of crazing, damage or restoration.
