An11cm (4¼") Leaf and Berry (Autumn Leaves) footed bowl designed by William Moorcroft. Bowl has a single set of leaves with surrounding berries within the bowl, the outside is decorated in a graduated cobalt blue to pale green glaze.
The base carries the impressed W Moorcroft facsimile signature and Royal Warrant, 'Potter to HM the Queen' which provides the dating of this bowl to around 1928.
The base of the foot has some age related crazing as does the main body of the bowl which is nevertheless in lovely condition, the decoration being crisp and bright with no signs of damage or restoration.
