Any bright white marks or spots are reflections from the lighting used when taking the photographs.

An 8.25cm (3¼") Miniature Slipper Orchid footed bowl designed by William Moorcroft. Bowl has a single orchid and leaves within the bowl, the outside is in a graduated cobalt blue to pale green glaze.

The base carries the impressed Moorcroft mark and the bowl dates from 1937.

The bowl stands 3cm (1¼") high and is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration and only a small amount of crazing to the base of the foot which is perfectly usual in vintage Moorcroft pieces.
