A 9cm (3½ inch) tall Closed Pomegranate miniature Trumpet Vase by William Moorcroft circa 1928. The base carries the impressed factory mark with facsimile signature and 'Potter to HM The Queen' . In 1936 the wording of the warrant changed on the death of King George V which dates this piece quite accurately.
Pomegranate is one of the most collected and sought after patterns, with miniature vases being particularly desirable as the quality of decoration has to be perfect.
In beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, a very worthy addition to any collection.
